Procrastination Defined

Procrastinatioin involves both behavioral delay and personal discomfort or upset about the delay. Procrastination is about being the cause of one’s victimization, makes the victim responsible for his own victimization and declares him the cause of his own discomfort. The problem arises when ability is considered the sole determinant of one’s self worth. The performance, whatever it may be, becomes the only measure of the person, nothing else is taken into account. An outstanding performance means an outstanding person, etc. Procrastination allows people to take comfort in believing their their ability is greater than their performance indicates. As long as you procrastinate, you never have to confront the real limits of your ability whatever those are.
